The recent flurry of snow has left Brown Eyes and the marina covered in snow, making my planned work for this week difficult.
There is even a thin layer of ice on the water which seems to be confusing the gulls that hang around the waterfront, eating the local mussels. Anyway this lack of progress was made up for with the annual trip down to the Excel Boat Show. As always this was a great day out and whilst the drop in numbers of visitors to the show was not good for those there with stands and displays, it meant that the atmosphere was much more relaxing and it was far easier to get to see those displays that interested us.
I'm sure the snow will soon be gone and work can then continue.........
